We receive no local authority funding, so donations and sponsorships are what allow us to remove financial barriers and keep our courses open to all. Terms & Conditions for Donations

1. About DanceTech UK

DanceTech UK is a volunteer‑run community organisation providing inclusive dance and performing arts programmes for children and young people. We receive no local authority funding and rely entirely on donations and sponsorships to keep our courses accessible with no financial barriers.

2. Voluntary Donations

All donations made through our website are voluntary contributions intended to support the running of our programmes, venues, resources, and community activities. Donations are not payments for goods or services.

3. Use of Funds

Funds received are used to support:

  • Delivery of free or low‑cost dance and performing arts programmes

  • Venue hire, equipment, and operational costs

  • Community events and outreach

  • Training, safeguarding, and compliance requirements

  • Any other costs necessary to run our programmes sustainably

 

4. Refund Policy

Donations are generally non‑refundable. If a donation was made in error, please contact us within 14 days and we will review the request on a case‑by‑case basis.

 

5. Payment Processing

Donations are processed securely through our chosen payment provider (e.g., Wix Payments, Stripe, or PayPal). DanceTech UK does not store or have access to your full payment details.

 

6. Privacy

Any personal information provided during the donation process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is used only for processing your donation, issuing receipts, or contacting you if required.

 

7. Gift Aid (if applicable)

If Gift Aid becomes available in future, donors will be asked to complete a separate declaration. At present, DanceTech UK is not registered for Gift Aid.

 

8. Receipts

A confirmation email will be sent automatically after your donation is processed. If you require an additional receipt, please contact us.
